CAN GOD TRUST YOU?

October 5, 2010

Can He trust you to get something done? Can He make you to be a wise and careful distributor and not a foolish or careless one? But one that will bring glory to his name. Not for you to propagate yourself but to elevate and lift His name up in every possible way, for then can He draw all men to Himself, when He is lifted up, to the glory and praise of His Name and His Kingdom.

May be you begin to wonder what kind of a question this is, but in actual fact, it is a serious one which every believer who wants and prays for the blessings of God and is expecting that, that blessing should be a permanent one. The Bible made us to know that God is the giver of all good and perfect gifts and when He blesses, He added no sorrow to it. That means he gives in an abundant way, without limitations, He gives without thinking about your past or what you think you are, God is the faithful one and He ever remains faithful, He does not count our sins or our shortcomings against us. The moment we realise that we have done something wrong and we confess this or any other sins to Him in the name of our Lord Jesus, not necessarily to a man behind a wall and we ask Him to forgive us sincerely, He does because He sees us through the precious blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross of Calvary for the remission of your sins and that of mine.
I John 18 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. (KJV)

The Bible says for this purpose was the son of God manifested, that He will destroy the works of the devil, all those things that make us not to believe or the things that make us fail or those things that make us fall, those things that keep us away from the works and the things of the kingdom of God, those things that wants to keep us in the darkness and prevent us from seeing into the spiritual the way the Bible wants us to see, that is, spiritual Blindness. Jesus came to destroy all these and every other thing that has to do with sins or leads us to sins.

I John 3: says 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (KJV)

He does not count our sins against us, even when we are not faithful. The Bible says that He gives us the power to make wealth. Why and what is the reason? Why do we need to be wealthy? Because it is His wish for us, and He has entered into a covenant on this with us. He is not a covenant breaker, He does not lie, He is faithful, but we hinder Him at many times when he wants to bless us. He is the maker, the creator, He knows what we need, and He gives us at the appropriate time. But then after we have received, what do we do with the blessings of God.

What kind of covenant is this? All of us, I mean many believers know how to pray and quote or even sing about the covenant blessings of Abraham and apply it every moment of the day to ourselves, that is Deuteronomy 28: 1- 14, but have you even taking a second thought or have ever try to ask yourself why exactly God wants us to prosper as in 3 John 2 where He says that it is His wish/ will for us.

He says in
3 John 1: 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (KJV)
Now you can see that it is not only being properous that is the issue here but that you also be in good health,
How can you enjoy what you have been given if you areconstantly or permanently sick? but you see at many times we open the door for that devil to come in and penetrate with sickness, sometimes through sins, or other ways that is not pleasing to God and then we loose that blessing. But that is not our portion even as you read this article today I know that God is already touching you for a divine change in your life and believe every word of God that comes out to you through this message you will never be the same. The word of God will never go until it is fulfilled.

And Philippians 4: 19 says
19   But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (KJV)

Then in Genesis 12:2- 3
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (KJV)

So you now know why He is blessing you, because from all these scriptures you can see clearly the reasons, so that you can be a blessing to generations and as you do this He blesses you more in return. It is not just for yourself to squandalise, get materialised and get properties all over the world but to abound in every good works that glorify the name of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 9: 6- 15 says 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. 12 For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God; 13 Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men; 14 And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you. 15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift. (KJV)

When you become a real giver you do not expect to get something in return from the person you give something to but you look at it as a seed that is being sown in the lives of somebody. When the time comes you see it germinating, growing, blossoming, and bearing fruit and the process continues. It then becomes a treasure laid up in a place where it can not be destroyed. Where do you store this treasure? In Heaven of course.

Matthew 6: 19- 21 says 19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (KJV)

BUT be careful the way you become a blessing to someone so that it does not go in vain. How?

Matthew 6: 1- 4 says 1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. (KJV)

And when you are being bless more and rewarded for your good deeds, don't give up and forget the source, remember that He is the one that makes it possible for you to be where you are.

Deuteronomy 8: 18 says 18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Malachi 3: 10- 12 says 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. 12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts. (KJV)

The reason He filled your storehouse is because he wants you to be a genuine, heavenly distributor to the needs and cares of the people far and near. At this point now will you for a moment look deep within yourself and check, scrutinise yourself and ask, am I ready to do this? Will I be faithful? When you have sincerely and faithfully check and ask this, the rest is simple just go to the Lord and pour out your heart on to Him. He knows your heart anyway so there is no issue of deceit in this matter. He will surely grant your desires. Amen
Pray also now for God to make you a blessing source reaching to the needs of people suffering and flowing to meet the needs of the work of God. He is hearing and answering you right now. Believe Him now for that miracle that you have been waiting and asking Him for, it is right there with you. Just connect to Jesus and receive in His name. Amen.

God bless you. Amen

EFFORTLESS CHANGE

October 5, 2010

Are there things in your life that you would like to change?

From my experience, everyone I know wants to change or wants some changes in their lives.
As Christians we are content with what we have and what God has done for us but because of God in us, it's hard and impossible, to be content with the feeble and weak way we allow God to express Himself through us.
*No- one except Jesus has ever given the world a perfect example.
All of us, Christians want to change because change means growth. We want to change for the better. When there is no change, then there is no growth and no increase or multiplication. And that is stagnation or retardation, whether spiritual, material, financial, or physical. We all need to be green as in spring and growing, not dried up as in autumn but how do we do that.

*The frustration that comes from not reaching our goals has been a breeding ground for many of Satan's most devastating weapons. If we aren't careful, we as Christians can feel like failures more than the lost: After all, we have been told to be like Jesus. That's a big task. After I gave my life to Jesus, it took me a long time to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit because I wanted it to be genuine and the true Spirit of God, not fake. And then from the time when I encounter the Lord gloriously in 1986 and was baptised in the Holy Ghost, I started to change and grow rapidly. I had a glimpse of how awesome the Lord is, and what He wanted me to do and be, but I was millions of kilometres away from that victorious life, that God had revealed to me but gradually, He brings me step by step and day by day along the way. The way on which I am still, by His grace walking with my Lord. At times, the process seemed so long and the goal so far off, that I despaired of ever making any progress in this lifetime, but now when I look back, I bless God for His faithfulness.
Several times when I get to a certain crossroad and I ask God about this, at times He'll tell me, "My grace is sufficient for you, just put my words in you, meditate on it, and it will do the rest" --That has always provided me with directions and assurances. And that is basically what I've been doing with the Lord taking me step by step along the way.

The Lord taught me a big truth through one of His parable and showed me the working of His word.
Mark 4:26- 29, says, 26   He also said, "This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. 27   Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. 28   All by itself the soil produces corn-- first the stalk, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. 29   As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come." (NIV)

The Word has to be planted in our hearts for it to work. A seed needs to release its life first when planted before it can grow. God's word sets us free when we get it in our lives. Having Bible on our tables, our hands, under our pillows or in our heads is not sufficient. We have to commit God's word to our hearts, meditating on it day and night.

Secondly- The man according to the Scriptures sowed the seed slept and rose day after day--which means it takes time for it to germinate and bring fruit but not the same day or the next day. Or if a seed is dug up everyday neither can it grow. Faith is needed in seeing the seed growing (sprouting) so we need to leave it alone and water it with prayers. We can't just meditate on the word of God one-day and expect result the next neither is it possible once a week that's like digging up the seed it has to be a continuous thing.
Joshua 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Meditation upon the word of God should be daily with prayers. The scriptures have to abide in us if we are to receive any answer.

John 15:7  If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.

Mark 4:27- 28 Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how.  All by itself the soil produces corn-- first the stalk, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. (NIV)

It is an amazing thing because no- one knows how a seed works- the miracle of a growing seed has not been known by all technologies. We can mix chemicals together to get a taste of a seed but a man made seed can't grow. For thousands of years, there have been planting and harvesting without the understanding of how it works- because the chemicals that can release life can never be found it is only given by God.
Similarly are the words of God, how they work is beyond understanding and cannot be explained or how they differ from other words that we read, I can't comprehend but I know it works and it must sink down into our hearts, saturating our entire being and then when it is released, it becomes alive.
The Bible has God's life in it, and when planted in our hearts and left there, it releases that life. God change comes effortlessly when His Word is alive in our hearts. As plants and fruits are the natural by- products of a physical seed, so are the changes that come from the Words of God, which are planted in our hearts. This is such a simple truth, that most people have missed it. At various time, for different reasons:
- People are looking for a spectacular encounter with God that will transform their lives instantly like Paul.
- Few are willing to change or grow sincerely.
- Some pray a lot for miracles but have no time for the Word of God in their hearts which will produce the miracle.
- Some pray a lot for many things but have no time to listen to God for answers or directions.
* Prayer is the water and fertiliser to a seed, but the seed has to be planted first. It helps the words release it's life in it, not the water. Likewise, prayer is not a substitute for planting God's word in your heart. Prayer without the word is religious at best and complaining at worst.

Romans 12: 2 -   we need to renew our mind- we can wait 24 hours, 7 days for all we know, without words nothing can change. No planting, no harvesting. Christians wants result without planting God's word all the time. They don't go to the Word, meditating on where the answer is; they want words given as direct prophecy every-time from above. If they don't get result within a stipulated time, they get confused and offended. God can meet our needs through other people's faith but it is temporary and secondary way of touching us. God's best is for us to take the seed of His word and plant it in our lives and it will supernaturally grow and just bring a natural and physical change that we desire in our lives. Amen.

My Year of New Beginning and The Goodness of God.

October 5, 2010

These are the things God is declaring to us in this time of new beginning and distinction through His goodness and His grace. You have to personally believe it and confess it to yourself.

This is my year of distinction through God’s Goodness.

God will grant me prophetic insight into Scripture!

Where God is taking me, only a force that can stop God will stop me from getting there!
Where this year will land me, my enemies will start weeping!

I shall be restful in the works of my hands!

My life shall become a life of thanks!

Excellence will become my identity this year!

God’s timetable for me will never fail!

This year, I will be rising up!

I will become a personality of attraction!

I shall be reckoned with as assets in this year I have entered to!

Men shall eat at my table this year!

In the midst of gross darkness, I will experience His goodness for distinction.
The Lord shall arise upon me, and His glory shall be seen in my life!
Nations will arise through my church, my family, and I this year!
My church, my family, and I will experience exceeding multiplication in this year we are entering!
The Lord is bringing a glorious, extensive expansion of our coasts!
God will distinguish us among the dwellers of the earth!
We are heading for our season of distinction by His goodness!
There will be sporadic and distinguished liftings in our lives!
Nothing that happens to the Egyptians will find access to our lives!
There will be various, extraordinary establishments in our lives!
The devil notwithstanding, God will convert us to envy among our peers!
Those who dig pits because of us will fall into their pits!
This year the Lord will make our terror to fall on our enemies!
This is the year of our own making!
We will not suffer financial breakdowns anymore!
We will live an enchantment-free life!
We shall be distinguished in our career, various jobs, and studies!
Everywhere we turn, the mark of His goodness will be upon us to make us distinct!
Among the nations of the earth, we will be envied!
Everyone that is alive today shall see the goodness of our God.
Accident will have no access to us, this year!
None of us will bury children!
We will not bury any member of our family!
The hand of God will locate us for promotion!
Our businesses will have supernatural expansion and have no reason to close down!
Everything we are doing will keep on multiplying in our hands!
The Lord will visit us with divine favour, more than what we could imagine!
The best permits will be released into our hands for establishment!
God will open the treasures of heaven to us!
God will make everything to be in our favour!
The hidden treasures of darkness, and riches stored in secret places will be given unto us!
God will remove all failures from our lives!
Everyone called barren will become fruitful because of contact with us!
Our steps will lead us to distinction because of His goodness!
Greatness is now our portion!
Those who mocked us before will hide away from us now!
We will go through this year and this season with new love and without any trace of depression in our lives! Amen.

These are prophetic words. Receive them in faith and wait patiently to see their fulfilment. Pray them out to yourself, and hold on tight to the Lord. I am confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in us will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Amen. (Philippians 1:6).
